Announcing the Winners of the Literary Giveaway!

First of all, thanks to all participants of the Literary Giveaway Blog Hop and thanks to Leeswammes for organizing.  I had a lot of fun visiting new blogs and signing up for book giveaways, although I didn’t win anything (sigh).  Still, I discovered some fun new blogs, like Misprinted Pages and The Blog of Litwits, to name just a couple.

I also enjoyed receiving everyone’s book recommendations!  We got a wide variety of recommendations, which you can see if you look at the comments.  Books that received multiple recommendations were:  The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Stephen King’s 11/22/63, The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey, and A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness.

I received 64 entries and selected these winners using a random number generator.

  • A copy of Norwegian Wood goes to Malvina Beatrice and will travel all the way to Malaysia.  Malvina recommended Like the Flowing River by Paulo Coelho.
  • A copy of Pump Six and Other Stories will go to Kinna of Kinna Reads.  Kinna’s in Ghana, West Africa.  Kinna recommended Fly Away Peter by David Malouf.
  • A copy of The Qualities of Wood will go to Debbie at Ex Urbanis.  Debbie recommended Blizzard of Glass: The Halifax Explosion of 1917 by Sally M. Walker.

Thanks to all who participated in the Hop and I hope these winners enjoy their books as much as I did.
